This course sets the foundation for understanding your camera (and you can just start with your phone camera), the principles of good photography, and how to curate your work effectively. The journey concludes with an exciting online showcase, where you're encouraged to invite everyone to view your achievements. This course promises not just to teach you about photography, but to inspire a deep love for capturing moments.

Module 1: Discovering Your Camera and Photography Basics

  • Introduction to digital photography and getting comfortable with your camera.

  • Fundamental concepts: Exposure (shutter speed, aperture, ISO), framing, and composition.

  • Assignment: Take a series of photos experimenting with different exposures.

Module 2: The Art of Composition and Lighting

  • Preparing for the online showcase: How to effectively organize and present your work.

  • Final Assignment: Curate your portfolio and prepare your presentation for the online showcase.
